GTA Home Sales See Best July Since 2021
The GTA just had its best July for home sales since 2021. Sales were up nearly 11% from last year, outpacing new listings and making the market a bit tighter.
Lower home prices and borrowing costs are helping more buyers get into the market. TRREB’s president noted that while borrowing costs still need to ease, more households are finding affordable options.
In total, 6,100 homes sold in July, with just over 17,600 new listings—sales are rising faster than listings, signaling a slight shift towards a tighter market.
